Sellers with rare bottles of whisky, other spirits, and wine can list their bottles on the Rare Pours platform for buyers to bid on. Create an account and start selling.

How to Upload Bottles on the Rare Pours Platform

There are four simple steps to upload bottles to the Rare Pours Platform

1. 1. Go to your account to submit your bottle and provide the name, brand, proof, and size of your bottle.
2. 2. Upload 4 pictures of your bottle showing upright bottle, fill level, label and general condition.
3. 3. Submit your bottle for review.
4. 6. We’ll get back to you within 26 hours to let you know if it is approved to sell or if we need more details.

Rare Pours hosts a monthly auction. If you would like to participate in the auction, you will need to send us your bottle(s) before the auction to be eligible. For listings, you send the bottle after it has been purchased.

How it Works For Buyers

Create an account on the Rare Pours platform. Once you do that just get onto the selling page of the Rare Pours platform and then it takes a few simple steps to buy a bottle.

1. 1. You will see bottles listed at an asking price. You can give the asking price or provide a bid.
2. 2. If the seller accepts your bidding price. You are the owner of the bottle.
3. 3. The bottle will be sent to us for authentication beyond the initial blockchain checks we conduct.
4. 6. Once we confirm the bottle is authentic, we will ship it to your chosen address.

Rare Pours Auctions

We host a once-a-month auction for our sellers and buyers. Here you will find the rarest in whisky, bourbon, other spirits, and wine for auction. All verified buyers and sellers can join this auction. The dates of monthly auctions will be sent to members and shown on our site.

How do you make it legal to ship bottles in the United States?

Rare Pours has an import license that allows us to legally import bottles of rare spirits and wine from sellers across the US as well as other countries like Canada. We send the required paperwork to our sellers so they can legally send their bottles to us, we authenticate each bottle and send them to buyers around the globe.

How do you know if a bottle is real?

We use blockchain technology to assess the initial photographic submission of bottles. Once the bottles are shipped to us, we have an in-house expert team that qualifies each bottle before it is sent to a customer.

Do all bottles need to have their original boxes?

No, all bottles do not have their original boxes. We authenticate the bottle for its originality, if there is a box, that’s great and some clients are specifically looking for that, but if there isn’t one that is fine as well. If you have the original box, you can list that on the platform.

How long does it take to get paid?

You will be paid within two weeks of us receiving your bottle and authenticating it.

How long does it take for me to receive my bottle?

It will take a minimum of two weeks for us to receive the bottle from the buyer, conduct verification and send it to you.

Do you only sell US bottles?

No, we sell bottles from around the world. We can buy a great bottle no matter where you are located.

Can I buy a bottle if I am not in the US, UK, or Canada?

Yes, you can.
